Introduction
- Most electronic resources are provided to SPH Library patrons via the Texas Medical Center Library. When accessing e-resources via the TMC Library website, you will be asked to authentic using your UTHealth username and password. More information about authentication can be found here.
- There are however, a hand full of journals and databases which are essential to public health but which are not available at the TMC Library. These are listed in this LibGuide. If you encounter a paywall during your use of the TMC Library website, please consult this LibGuide, or attempt your search via the SPH Library website.
- If you are unable to access a resource via either the TMC library or the SPH library, submit a request for it via Interlibrary Loan. Note that the first 12 Interlibrary loan requests per academic year are free. After the initial 12, each request will cost between $12 and $15 depending on the resource.
