The SPH Library's Role

All graduating students who want to submit their thesis or dissertation to the SPH Library for publication must abide by the UTHealth School of Public Health's Office of Academic Affairs and Student Services guidelines for official completion and final approval. You can access their student guides, based on your degree program, below.

Graduating students are not required to submit an electronic copy of their work to the SPH Library, but they have the option to do so if they want it to be published in the ProQuest Dissertations & Theses Global (PQDT) database. This LibGuide describes the steps that need to be completed by students who want to pursue this option.

Note: Students can only submit to the library during their graduating semester. The student has access to Canvas for 90 days after graduation, and this is the window of time the student has to submit to the library through the Canvas Module.
