Why is RefWorks important for my thesis or dissertation?
- You can keep track of all of the resources you will use to write your dissertation or thesis. By resources this means the journal articles, books/eBooks, etc. that you use to support your research findings.
- Helps you to create your reference page or bibliography. This is the list of references that goes at the end of your paper.
- There are tools RefWorks offers to help you with in-text citations.
If you have a RefWorks account, you can still access your account after you graduate. Recommended best practice is to update your RefWorks account login because you will lose access to your UTHealth email.
